888poker celebrated its 20 years of online poker success with the Happy Holiday Sale. The 2022 concluding event was a roaring success which continued from December 19-26. The event offered $250,000 in prize guarantees but surpassed its limit by distributing $301,755 in prize money. Plus some 9,410 players were given discounted tournament entries.

A total of 2,103 entries participated in the $100,000 888Poker Holiday Sale Mystery Bounty Main Event creating a prize pool of $105,150 prize pool. The Canadian player “Josieviolet” took the top mystery bounty prize of $10,000. “Josieviolet” received a $93.75 cash prize for his 113th position against his $55 investment.

“Laszlo_Szucs” took the title by defeating “xCot_” in the heads-up and received $7,450 for his efforts. The runner-up returned with a prize of $5,899 for his second-place finish.

“Ognain1998” Makes Five-Figure Cash

The $40,000 Holiday Sale Mystery Bounty entry fee was $256 instead of $530. The 185 entrants made a prize pool of $46,250, including a $4,000 bounty payment. The players who entered the nine-handed final table cashed larger mystery bounties. “Inflaatio” from Finland received $1,141 for his sixth-place finish but cashed $7,815 from mystery bounties, increasing his total score to $8,957. It also included the $4,000 top bounty.

“Ognian1998” from Montenegro emerged as the champion and received $6,103 from the main prize pool with an additional $5,930 from mystery bounties. His total score became $12,033, a handsome amount to celebrate the holidays.
