Keep on reading to discover the journey of Bonomo towards the success of his big poker game and the competition he faced whilst bringing his old title back!
Wins of Bonomo throughout the Years
Bonomo has contributed to various wins throughout the years and claimed many titles. His strikes included some of the following:
2018 Wins
In 2018, Bonomo took the crown, becoming the all-time winner of the World Series of Poker Big One for a cash prize of $10 million. He defeated Daniel Negreanu who was the position holder for years and took the top place on the all-time live tournament list.
2019 Wins
2019 was not a fortunate year for Bonomo as he lost the lead and his victory to Bryn Kenney who took his place and topped the all-time live tournament list with a win of £1.05 million. Bryn broke history records by being rewarded £16,890,509 ($20,563,324) which is the highest sum of prize money ever earned by a single poker player. Bryn Kenney has held this record since the win in the 2019 £1,050,000 Triton Million for Charity of $20.5 million.
2021 Wins
So, after two years of being stuck in second place on the all-time cash tournament list, Bonomo finally reclaimed his victory and took the lead in the $100K High Roller at the Bellagio on December 03, 2021, against Bryn Kenney. The final table included some of the biggest poker stars such as Jason Koon who took second place and took home $677,800. The third place was taken by Dan Smith who won $304,000.
Total Wins
Justin’s total earnings from the live games have risen up to $57,047,262 with Kenny following with $56,907,381. The close difference between the two only makes up to $140,000 in earnings with Bonomo in the lead. Nevertheless, Bonomo is set out to expand the difference through his participation in the 2021 tournaments. So, Bonomo climbed back to the top spot at the Hendon Mob all-time money list clearly crossing Bryn Kenney who held the position for two strong years.
Poker Hall of Fame Alert
The 36-year-old professional American poker player is set out to qualify for the Poker Hall of Fame for which he can be nominated when he turns 40. Bonomo has six final table appearances with two wins at various different high roller tournaments.
Bonomo has proved to be a successful player due to his achievements in the high roller circuits, LIVE Caribbean Poker Party, US Poker Open, WPT, and European Poker Tour in 2018. Moving back to history, Bonomo came into the focus of attention in 2018 after scoring the top in ten tournaments and winning $25 million.
Bonomo won two World Series Of Poker bracelets and topped two Super High Roller Bowls in Las Vegas and China. The latest game scored by Bonomo is the $300,000 Super High Roller Bowl in Las Vegas in which he scored the second position.
