Aaron Katz, another bracelet winner, was eliminated in the seventh place for $202,103. Only five players returned on the final day. Soon, Jared Bleznick lost to Dudley when his Kings did not stand against the aces of Dudley. Bleznick went home with $342,626 for fifth place. Veselin Karakitukov started the day as the chip leader but lost his lead due to his passive approach. A few moments later, Karakitukov decided to call all-in on a J (Spades), 9 (Diamonds), 4 (Hearts) flop with J (Clubs), 10 (Clubs), 6 (Diamonds), and 5 (Clubs). The Bulgarian pro was slowly following the A (Hearts), Q (Hearts), J (Hearts), and 10 (Spades) of Cowen. At last, the A (Spades) and 3 (Diamonds) decided the fate of Karakitukov. He received $458,016 for his fourth-place finish.

Cowen eventually took the lead after winning a big pot against Ben Lamb. Lamb called all-in with K (Diamonds), J (Diamonds), 7 (Spades), and 6 (Diamonds) against the 7 (Hearts), 5 (spades), 4 (Diamonds), and 3 (Spades) of Cowen. Cowen won a flush when the board ran out on J (Spades), 3 (Clubs), 2 (Spades), 6 (Clubs), and 4 (Spades). Lamb cashed $622,861 for his third position.

The Heads-up Play

In the final moments, Cowen raised with a J (Diamonds), 9 (Clubs), 8 (Diamonds), and 5 (Spades), to which Dudley replied with K (Spades), K (Diamonds), Q (Clubs), and 4 (Spades). The flop showed J (Spades), 7 (Spades), and 6 (Hearts), and Dudley decided to move all in. Cowen responded with a call and finally secured the title when the 9 (Spades) provided a winning full house. Dudley received $861,442 for his runner-up finish.
